Who We Are
Hi, we’re Maddie & Megan — the faces behind the brand and two Arizona girls who now call North Carolina home. Between us, we’ve got six kids (Maddie: 2 boys | Megan: 1 boy + 3 girls), so life is full, busy, and a little chaotic… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Our journey with Kamut flour started out West, where it became a staple in our kitchens. We loved how wholesome, nutritious, and versatile it was—but when we moved to North Carolina, we realized it wasn’t easy to find. Instead of going without, we decided to bring it here ourselves. And just like that, Free Spirit Harvest was born.
We’re busy moms just like you, passionate about making small, meaningful changes in our kitchens that feel doable and sustainable. For us, it started with switching our flour to Kamut. Now, we’re on a mission to share the benefits of this ancient grain with families across the Carolinas, helping make healthy, delicious food more accessible—and fun.
